Minimum Password Requirements
Talisman Games requires a minimum security level of password to protect your account, but it is not too restrictive for most people. Primarily, it is a minimum length restriction of between 4 and 8 characters, depending on what kinds of characters (numbers, upper- and lower-case letters, and symbols) are included. The more different kinds of characters you include, the shorter the password is allowed to be. The exact calculation for minimum length is too complex to easily describe, but it should be a simple matter for you to include a few more characters or more kinds of characters to meet the requirements if necessary. Strict combinations of these various components are not required.
In addition, the following limitations apply:
- Passwords are composed of digits, upper- and lower-case letters, and ordinary ASCII symbols, as desired.
- Extended ASCII characters (accented letters and unusual symbols) and Unicode characters are not permitted.
- The Space (" ") character is not permitted; passwords must be a single word.
- The Semicolon (";") character is not permitted (for technical reasons).
- No single character may be used more than four times.
- At least four different characters must be included.
